C2- LEARNING TEACHING TRAINING ACTIVITY - GREECE

Our main points on the meeting agenda were:

- Every partner presented the local activities progress-Power Point Presentation

- Meeting with the mayor and deputy mayor: differences and similarities between the early school education systems in the 6 partner countries were discussed;

- Seminar organized by Greece: The importance of ICT tools, coding, robotics and educational platforms in early school education for the improvement of critical thinking, creativity and the development of key-competences for both special and normal children;

- Discussion about replacing KUBO and Cubetto coding robots with Tutobo robot and OSMO suite due to the fact that since our first contact (2017), the approval year (2019) and the present, the technology evolved very fast and the two robots become outdated and they are not fit anymore to be used in our activities with children;

- Workshop involving all participants from the 6 partner countries involving: Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Tutobo robot, Osmo Suite, Sphero SPRK+, Deck Toys platform, NFC, applications and sites: Arylin, Octagon studio, Hour of Code, Scann3D, WOW4D+, Plotagon, Story Visualizer, Google Arts and culture, Digital Storytelling tools, Edpuzzles, Lego We Do 2.0. Arloopa, Tynker;

- Demonstrative activities and job shadowing at the partner kindergarten from Greece regarding modern methods, techniques and interactive games;

- Seminar and workshop in collaboration with The Music Tree Educational Center - how we can create and integrate musical tools and music in class and its importance in raising the special and normal children creativity and thinking processes;

- Visiting at the Cultural Center Stavros Niarchos, seeing the educational resources (opera and library);

- Discussion - We identified future potential risks that the pandemic can generate in the future for our project and we set some potential solutions if is the case;

- Seminar - Highlighting the needs of visual learners and how can the different types of intelligence can be helped using the robots, tools, STEAM and musical instruments;

- Discussions about the next local activities and online meeting for children that will take place in the next months (until the next LTT);

- Discussions about the dissemination process regarding the LTT and the local activities, about the devices that will be bought and the quantity for each, respecting the number of children and the approved form;

- Setting the period for the next Learning Teaching Training Activity (C3) in Tallinn, Estonia - period 14.02.2022 - 18.02.2022;

- All the participants received individual certificates and Euro pass certificates were stamped and signed.

- The activity was related with our normal activities and brought new things in the same time.The new tools and contents will be integrated in the daily activities during the local activities with children, respecting the approved form of our project.
